This year, the beauty industry experienced a lot of game-changers. From the introduction of hybrid products to an influx of lip kits, let’s just say there were many breakthrough moments in skincare and makeup. While it’s easy to reminisce on how amazing this year was for beauty, it’s totally understandable to already be creating a list of must-haves for 2020.

One big theme that’s on our radar is more cleaner and sustainable makeup and skincare. Since the no-makeup makeup and natural trends don’t seem to be going away anytime soon, it’s exciting to see a ramp-up of related products and brands. We’re also keeping our eyes on certain trends like super breathable foundation, highlighting oils, metallic eyeshadow and vinyl lipstick. Yes, that’s right vinyl lipstick. While some of these trends have already been surfacing, it’s likely that we’ll see a ton of them even more in 2020.

So whether you’re looking to update a few items in your beauty bag or want to switch to a cleaner skincare routine, there are many options to help you accomplish that next year.
