These lifestyle brands are coming together to give back during the global crisis

In the midst of the current global health and economic crisis, the world is seeing communities and companies come together like never before. It’s no secret that the fashion and retail industry has been hit incredibly hard during this difficult time, yet some of our favorite brands are persevering and putting their best foot forward.

Companies like Boll and Branch, M.Gemi, Rhone, Greats, Super Coffee, and Dagne Dover are uniting to form Brands X Better, a group of brands that will be donating to COVID-19 relief. All of the participating brands selected nonprofits and charities of their choice of where to donate, based on what resonates with their brand and customer.

“We’re a coalition of brands who are committed to providing aid in a time of crisis. All coalition members have pledged to donate 10% of their proceeds to charities during the COVID-19 pandemic,” the Brands X Better website explains.

“We will give a minimum of 2 percent of sales or 10 percent of proceeds to nonprofits helping support COVID-19 efforts. The organizations we’ve chosen are focused on fighting and alleviating the social and economic impact of COVID-19 on our communities.” Check out the full break down of each brand’s pledge here.

Spanning from all different lifestyle categories including fashion, home, and food, the brands have all updated their company websites, allowing for customers to donate upon checkout. Additionally, there will be real time updates tracking the efforts of the contributions.
