When it comes to doing your hair these days, you may be trying a lot of things for the first time. For a lot of women that can mean a new hairstyle — some have even opted into doing the big chop and going back to their natural texture.

Whether your natural hair is still going through its origin story or your head has only ever had 4C ends, Dove Beauty has released a line of hair products for all types of natural hair journeys. Known as the Amplified Texture Collection, the line seeks to nourish and act as a helping hand to your natural hair routine.

Consisting of six products — each retailing for $6.99 — the line is a complete hair care routine from washing and moisturizing to styling. That includes a Hydrating Cleanse Shampoo, a Super Slip Detangling Conditioner, the Moisture Spa Recovery Mask, the Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner, the Twist In Moisture Shaping Butter Cream and the Shine & Moisture Finishing Gel.

“The line features our new Moisture Amplifying Blend delivering maximum moisture to all curls, coils and waves alongside natural ingredients including honey, jojoba, aloe and coconut oil,” the brand says of the new product.

Not only is Dove pushing the envelope for curly and coily hair textures, but it’s doing so with its purpose too.

The brand is a cofounder of the C.R.O.W.N. (Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair) Coalition, which helps to end Black hair discrimination. Black women are 80 percent more likely to change their natural hair to meet social norms or expectations at work. Thankfully, the brand is working to make change while helping Black people love and embrace their texture at every stage of your hair journey.
