Woman shares brilliant grooming trick all dog owners should know

The lives of all dog owners struggling to groom their beloved pets at home just got a million times easier.

Lindsey Shelton, an intensive care unit nurse and model in California, took to TikTok to share her ingenious dog grooming hack, which allows her to cut her dog’s nails without the typical, exasperating hassle. (Seriously, pet nail care is a fruitless task if you’ve never tried it before.)

In her clip, which has since racked up 2.4 million views on TikTok and over 4.2 million views on Twitter, Shelton can be seen smearing xylitol-free peanut butter across a piece of saran wrap she has secured around her head.

“What the hell are you doing? You look like a dork,” her husband calls out after noticing her contraption.

“Oh, I look like a dork? I’m about to look like a GENIUS,” she yells back.

The video then cuts to Shelton clipping one of her dog’s nails without any hassle from the furry friend, who is too preoccupied licking the peanut butter off of her forehead to fight back.

“Oh, that’s good stuff?” a thrilled-looking Shelton asks the dog, clearly pleased her trick has worked.

TikTok users seem to be equally thrilled by Shelton’s simple solution and have flocked to the comments to praise her creativity.

“A woman ahead of her time,” one person wrote.

“Sis is living in 3030,” added another.

“I love how your other dog is like ‘Uhhhh hey so can I get my nails done next?'” said a third.

Another curious user asked Shelton if this was the first time she had tried the saran wrap method, to which she replied, “YES! but I knew it would work because he’s a foodie.”

Shelton often shares clips of her adventures with her foster dogs on TikTok, where she has amassed a following of over 12,500 people.
