These two mini mogul brothers have raised over $300,000 for charity

Brothers Brandon Martinez, 13, and Sebastian Martinez, 11, are mini moguls.

The Miami-based siblings have raised over $300,000 in charitable contributions through their sock business Are You Kidding. Brandon and Sebastian founded the company in 2014

The two started drawing their own sock designs at home but have since upgraded to selling them on an online store. Each pair of socks is $10 and the boys regularly feature charity collections where all of the profits go to a number of organizations.

“We always like to look up what charity to work with and we call them to see if we can make socks with them,” Sebastian told In The Know.

Are You Kidding has worked with Live Like Bella, JDRF, Make-A-Wish, Cowboys Who Care and the Special Olympics to name a few. While Brandon is the director of sales and Sebastian is CEO, both brothers still create all of the fun sock designs together.

“Getting inspiration for the socks, like, you know, we have to think: What do people like? What is trending right now? The socks I’m wearing right now — the reason I came up with lightning socks is because we live in Miami, right? So you know how it always rains and thunderstorms? So I’m like, hey, Miami!” Brandon told In The Know.

There are also other cool designs like race cars, rocket ships and googly eyes on Are You Kidding’s site. Needless to say, the boys have made their mother Rachel Martinez proud.

“They’ve grown so much. Not only as kids but as entrepreneurs and as philanthropists,” Rachel told In The Know.
