Sit back, relax and listen to Daniel Radcliffe reading ‘Harry Potter’ aloud

The “boy who lived” is now the man who reads.

Quarantine is as good a time as any to catch up on some great books, especially when Daniel Radcliffe is the one doing the reading.

That’s right: Harry Potter himself is joining a star-studded list of celebrities set to record chapter-by-chapter readings of J.K. Rowling’s beloved series.

Organized by Rowling, Wizarding World and Spotify, the “Harry Potter at Home” series will feature weekly recordings of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” Available on both Spotify and the Wizarding World website, each week’s episode will include a new chapter of the book read by a famous fan or “Harry Potter” film star.

First up? Radcliffe, who the wizarding world naturally called the “perfect narrator” to kick off the series.

The first recording, of Radcliffe reading chapter one, is now available. In the coming weeks, Stephen Fry, David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Eddie Redmayne and more celebrities will be taking their turns.

Redmayne, as the star of the “Fantastic Beasts” film franchise, is now also a staple in the “Harry Potter” universe. Meanwhile, Beckham is a noted Potterhead, even once building a 6,000-piece Lego replica of the Hogwarts castle for his daughter.
