Tech is fun and for those who enjoy indulging in the latest and greatest releases, it can also be expensive and a bit cluttering. From laptops and tablets to TVs and cell phones, there are so many gadgets that we use on a daily basis. But, while we may enjoy having options, when an opportunity arises to merge two or more of these devices, we’re all for it.

This is the case with the new Samsung Galaxy Book Flex, an “ultra-slim” 2-in-1 designed device that functions as both a laptop and a tablet. Sweetening the deal even further, the sleek device is currently on sale for just $400 — $450 off its original retail price.

Coming equipped with 8GB of RAM storage — a feature that can be upgraded for a small fee — and 512GB of standard storage, this device boasts a 13.3-inch ultra-HD QLED touchscreen display.

According to the product’s description, the gadget was created with the same QLED magic that is built into Samsung’s most popular TVs. This particular addition allows for the colors presented on the screen to appear crisper and more vibrant than ever before.

Making the switch from laptop to tablet — and vice versa — also couldn’t be simpler with this machine. Simply flip the device at the latch that connects the keyboard and the screen and you’re done. No buttons or complicated ergonomics necessary — just one swift movement.

For further convenience, the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex also features a fast-charging battery that lasts up to 17 hours on one full charge. The battery can even be charged while on-the-go with a USB-C mobile phone charger or battery pack to ensure that you’re never out of juice.

The device also comes ready with Windows 10 Home OS (a $139 value), the company’s “most powerful” and most recent operating system. With this OS, users can edit, sketch, write, present and more with ease. And this can all be carried out through the device’s laptop or tablet style.

Aside from its laundry list of features, this premium device also comes at quite the bargain, especially when compared to similar 2-in-1 products on the market from other respected tech brands and retailers. For example, the HP Spectre x360 laptop, which also doubles as a tablet, retails for over $1000 before customization. This Samsung device comes in at a steal of just $400, an over-$600 difference in price when compared to HP’s option.

Seeing as the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex is still a new and recently released product, tons of shoppers have not yet shared their thoughts on its performance. One shopper, however, couldn’t wait to share their thoughts, recently heralding the product as the “best Samsung laptop ever.”

“If you want fast, elegant, good battery, and most importantly at a competitive price, then Flex … is your laptop,” the shopper wrote. “It has the best keyboard I have ever had on any other laptop.”

One con the shopper pointed out is that the laptop only comes in one color/finish: silver aluminum. “I wish Samsung offered other colors like blue or maroon like what Surface offers,” the shopper wrote.

However, they still gushed that this Samsung device is inexpensive, features a bright display, is lightweight, has impressive built-in speakers, and is durable.
