Making rotisserie chicken at home just got easier.
The beauty of a rotisserie is that the method of spinning the food evenly cooks it and reduces the fat content. But it’s also a cumbersome process that requires uncommon equipment. Most people have to go to supermarkets or restaurants to buy premade items — until now.
The Roto-Q 360 is a compact, fuel-free rotisserie that can be used in any oven or grill. It has a self-rotating system that automates the entire process. All you have to do is place the device into the oven or on a grill, then set it and forget it.
Rotisserie cooking can be a healthier option because spinning the food causes the fat and grease to drip off of it. The Roto-Q 360 comes with a drip tray to catch all those fats and health nuts can dispose of the old grease while other foodies may even want to reuse it.
Most rotisserie methods require large, industrial-sized equipment that use electric driven motors. They’re expensive, noisy and require large amounts of energy for lengthy cooking times. The Roto-Q 360 boasts a 30 percent reduction in cooking time, space-saving size and an affordable price tag starting at $50. It also has a few accessory add-ons like a hot dog cradle, kebab skewer, steak cage and rotisserie cage.
Before the Roto-Q 360 hits stores, you can still contribute to its full-funded Kickstarter. Although it has raised $153,000 after a modest $10,000 goal, there’s still a slew of available awards for pledgers.
