If you’re a die-hard Starbucks fan, then you know that the latest craze coming out of the iconic coffee house is its color-changing cups.

Having first sparked a buzz on social media during May, Starbucks seems to have launched two different color-changing tumbler designs made for the hot summer months: a confetti-inspired cup and then a set of five solid colored tumblers. Both designs change color when a cold drink is poured into the cup.

While Starbucks won’t refill your reusable cups due to the current pandemic, these cups are still a fun way to take your pool or beach or backyard drink up a notch. Check out the confetti cup in action below and head to Instagram user @sbuxreusablecups’ highlights to see the other tumblers change color!

As we typically see with popular Starbucks merch, the cups are, unsurprisingly, selling out fast. While you might be able to snag one or two at your local Starbucks drive-thru, we’ve been seeing the new cups pop up on several resale websites like eBay and Etsy if you’re desperate to get your hands on the real deal. We also recommend checking out your local Target or grocery store for these new cups.

Luckily, the color-changing trend has already caught on in the beverage world and other retailers are churning out their own versions of the rainbow tumblers now. Shop a few of our favorite color-changing cups below and we’ll let you know when the Starbucks versions are back in stock!
