Kanye West’s go-to vehicle isn’t a car — it’s a floating ATV

If you’re intimately familiar with Kanye West, then odds are that you already know about his love of Sherp ATVs.

When West took to the streets of Chicago to hand out free pairs of YZY QNTMs in February, he did so in all-black Russian Sherp ATVs. And when GQ visited the “Jesus Walks” singer at his ranch in Wyoming, he showed them his fleet of 10 Sherp ATVs. (The video portion of the interview was even conducted on top of two of the imposing Sherps.)

If there’s anywhere where it makes sense to have one — or ten — Sherp ATVs, it’s Wyoming. According to the vehicle’s website, the “all-terrain” vehicle is designed to “easily overcome boulders, fallen trees, and other obstacles up to 70 cm high.” Not only that, but the 2,866-pound ATV can float, meaning it’s ideal for passing through everything from marshes and snow to water and ice.

Sherp ATVs are certainly not cheap. According to Fleetistics, the cheapest ones start at $115,000.

Some celebrities like collecting rare vintage cars; Kanye West prefers to spend his fortune on all-terrain ATVs.
