If you’re an avid podcaster like me, you’re always on the hunt for the newest podcasts that deep dive into your favorite topics. As someone who has her own fashion podcast, I love tapping into other fashion podcasts that dissect culture, business and history (I know, I’m a bit of a dork).
That’s why I was so excited to find “Dior Untold,” a podcast from the House of Dior that gives us a behind-the-scenes look on the story of Christian Dior and his iconic fragrances.
If you didn’t know, Dior was the first couturier to show a fashion collection at the same time as unveiling a fragrance, Miss Dior, in 1947. Today, the brand has everything from perfumes to foundations, eyeshadow palettes to mascaras.

Dior Talks is, according to its site, “an ongoing series of compelling podcasts that explore the House’s position at the intersection of art, culture and society.”
The first episode is called “Dior in Bloom” and starts in the South of France, in 1954, at the designer’s home, the Château de la Colle Noire. Dior states, “In the opening episode, ‘Dior in Bloom,’ journey through Christian Dior’s life and discover the colorful places that shaped the vision of this exceptional couturier and perfumer. One of these extraordinary places, where this story begins, is Grasse – Christian Dior’s favorite region in France. It is here where he truly cultivated his love of flowers by planting acres of Centifolia Roses fulfilling the ultimate dream of this garden and flower enthusiast.”
I don’t know about you guys, but I already feel the high-class elegance!
According to the brand, the podcast celebrates “the passion and ideas of these inventive storytellers who make Dior an innovative laboratory possessed of a perpetual sense of daring.”
Nowadays, it is not uncommon to see fashion brands dabble into beauty as they look to swoop in Gen Z and millennial consumers who are looking to prestige brands at a masstige price.
If you want to check out the podcast, you can listen to it on most platforms or check it out directly on the Dior site.
