Ever since Fitbits arrived on the scene in 2009, they’ve been the go-to health tracker for many die-hard exercisers and fitness buffs. Even the occasional gym-goer likes to use it to monitor their daily physical activity. And thanks to Amazon, you can score one for less than $100.
Right now, the Fitness Fitbit Charge 3 Fitness Activity Tracker is on sale for $50 off, which is one of the lowest price points we’ve seen so far. Not to mention, it’s also listed as the No. 1 best-selling activity fitness tracker on Amazon.
So what does the Charge 3 do exactly? Well, one of the most noteworthy features is that it has 24/7 heart rate tracking, which is handy for reporting calories burned throughout the day and optimizing your workouts. As a bonus, the battery life can last up to seven days, according to the product description.

On the fitness side of things, the Charge 3 comes with over 15 goal-based exercise modes including running, biking, swimming, yoga and more. So, you can receive real-time health stats and insights during workouts. Additionally, if you want to hop in the shower or take a quick dip in the pool, the device boasts that it’s water-resistant for up to 50 meters.
And like the design of many smartwatches, the Charge 3 is touchscreen and able to sync to most smartphones (iOS and Android, in particular). Moreover, you can track sleep patterns, and even use the device as a stopwatch during your gym sessions.
Although it doesn’t come with standalone GPS like many of the Apple Watches, that doesn’t appear to be a dealbreaker for many Amazon shoppers.
One reviewer raved about its “perfect size” and positively compared it to Fibit’s much more expensive Ionic and Versa models.
“The Charge 3 is the perfect size, and it provides me with all of the insights I need about my daily activity, including how well I am sleeping (which is just amazing btw),” they wrote. “So for half of the price of the Ionic/Versa, the Charge 3 gives me everything I need/want.”
Another shopper touted it as a “reliable device” for their concerns.
“I’ve used cheaper fitness trackers in the past and was always disappointed in the accuracy and App features — but Fitbit has [addressed] all my concerns with the Charge 3,” the reviewer wrote.
