Saweetie asks boyfriend Quavo 44 questions and it’s so wholesome

Hip-hop has a new power couple.

Migos’ Quavo and up-and-coming star Saweetie were dubbed rap’s “wholesome couple” by Vulture. The couple told their love story to GQ in July, culminating in a viral interview where Saweetie asks her beau 44 questions on camera

Before the two got together, Saweetie admits she’d had a crush on Quavo for a while. Then he slid into her DMs one day.

“He sent me the snowflake [emoji] and I sent him the stir-fry back,” Saweetie told GQ

Quavo planned their first date which ended in a brawl at an Atlanta strip club. But the rocky start evolved into something much deeper. Now the “ICY GIRL” rapper and one-third of the multiplatinum rap trio Migos have been together for two years.

In the couple’s quiz, Saweetie asked him questions ranging from the easy — like when her birthday is — to deeper questions like, what are Quavo’s pet peeves about her.

“I don’t have any, you’re the greatest,” Quavo tells her. But Saweetie pushes back and gives him a hint: it happens every night.

“You take long as hell to come to bed,” Quavo quipped. “That’s the biggest pet peeve. She take forever to get to bed. Every time she come out that bathroom I’m ‘sleep.”

But Saweetie clarified that he was still wrong and described herself as a “wild sleeper.” Quavo said she sleeps in ridiculously inconvenient positions. But the “Stir Fry” rapper knew his girl gets a manicure every week and a half, doesn’t leave the house without her phone, eyelashes or Icy girl lip gloss and of course, he could rap the opening verse of her hit song.

Not many men would let their romantic partners publicly quiz them but who can be shocked when Quavo talks about her like this.

“I give her Quavious [his birth name]. I give her what my mama calls me,” he said. “I don’t let people inside my life and I let her inside. And she’s helping me grow up. She’s showing me how to love a woman.”
