Teen slams sister over ‘cruel’ TikTok prank: ‘Ruined my life’

There is definitely such a thing as going too far for a TikTok video.

Recently, one Reddit user’s life was “ruined” when their sister decided to “prank” them while they were sleeping.

Posting in the r/teenagers subreddit, user be4merboy described how their sister took things too far all in the name of a TikTok video.

‘She needed 2 seconds to ruin everything’

“When I was sleeping, she came in my room and literally shaved my f****** head,” they explained. “I mean she didn’t cut all of my hair, she made a big, bald line … I’ve spent almost 2 years growing my hair, and she needed 2 seconds to ruin everything.”

In a fit of anger, be4merboy said that they broke their sister’s AirPods. When be4merboy told their parents what happened, they apparently said that the prank was “quite funny.” When they found out what be4merboy did in retaliation, though, they were much less amused and took away the Reddit user’s computer and phone.

“My sister ruined my f****** life,” be4merboy said.

‘Go find a new family dude’

In just 20 days, be4merboy’s post has received nearly 80,000 upvotes and upwards of 6,000 comments.

Many Reddit users were sympathetic, telling be4merboy that their family was being absolutely unreasonable.

“Go find a new family dude,” one person said.

“HOLD THE PHONE, YOUR PARENTS THINK A BALD LINE ACROSS YOUR HEAD IS FUNNY? PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE GOING TO LEAVE THAT HOUSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE,” another user commented.

However, other people called be4merboy out for overreacting, noting that hair ultimately grows back.

“Am I the only one that thinks he’s overreacting just a bit? I mean, sure, their sister is a major a-hole, but a [more] subtle vengeance might have been more suitable, and caused less pandemonium,” one person said. “You probably would still have your phone and laptop now, if you were a bit more careful.”

“Your life isn’t ruined. C’mon,” another user added. “I hate being bald, too … but we don’t have to be that over dramatic about it.”
