We can only assume Harry Styles is driving this school bus full of watermelons

Picture this: You’re driving down the highway, it’s a sunny day and you’re enjoying the peaceful sights along the open road You’ve probably heard a Harry Styles song on the radio at least once in the past hour.

You slow down because there’s a school bus in front of you, but upon further inspection, it’s not full of kids — it’s full of watermelons.

That’s the gist of what happened to TikTok user heckinmess. She shared footage of the watermelon school bus with her followers, and it has since been viewed more than 700,000 times.

In the background, someone can be heard singing “watermelon school bus, hi,” to the tune of Harry Styles’ hit song, “Watermelon Sugar.”

Commenters were deeply amused.

“Where are they going??” one wondered.

“Why do I feel like I read this in a math problem in high school,” another said.

“Harry Styles been real quiet since you released this,” a third wrote.

Though we’d like to imagine that the mysterious vehicle is on its way to some sort of produce education program or the set of Styles’ next music video, loading an old bus with watermelons actually isn’t that unusual.

Across the country, produce growers have transformed dozens of yellow school buses to haul the crops from the field to the market.

Delaware Agriculture Secretary Edward Kee, a farming expert, told Delmarva Now that school buses are “almost ideal for hauling watermelons.” They’re large, cheap and come with amenities.

Dawn Collins, who raises more than 100 acres of watermelons in Delaware and uses school buses to transport the fruit, said her dream is to purchase one of the vehicles and paint it to look like a watermelon.

Now that would be a magic school bus.
