A former Panera Bread employee shared the 5 items you should ‘never’ order

A former Panera Bread worker is going viral after sharing the menu items he claims customers should “never” order.

The ex-employee, who goes by the name Mo on social media, revealed his list on TikTok. The clip, which has 4.6 million views, lists five items in total.

“[Five] things to never order from Panera! We almost got fired for this bruh, we tried warning you!” Mo captioned the clip.

First on Mo’s list: the chain’s famous mac and cheese, which his co-worker calls “soggy.” Their comments echoed a video from another former employee, who claims she was fired last year after revealing how the dish is made (it allegedly involves a lot of microwave heating).

Then, the TikToker warns against Panera’s soups.

“We leave them out for hours … hours,” he claims.

Next, Mo’s co-coworker calls out the chain’s steak and white cheddar sandwich. She specifically seems grossed out by the item’s horseradish sauce.

“Not the horseradish, don’t do it,” Mo adds.

That said, it seems as though the issue with the horseradish is simply that it’s spicy. Mo’s co-worker claims it was so hot it made her “sneeze out fire.”

Mo’s next warning is against any sandwich that has thicker meat — such as Panera’s cuban sandwich. He claims in his clip that the “meat can stay out for hours.”

His final item is fairly broad.

“Don’t order anything that has bread with it,” Mo says, before bursting into laughter.

It’s unclear how Panera responded to the video, but Mo did clarify in the clip’s comments that he no longer works for the chain. Regardless, his TikTok seemed to strike a chord with commenters.

“So in conclusion, don’t go to Panera,” one user wrote.

“So basically the whole menu,” another concluded.
