Some videos are just so unbelievable, they really can’t come with an explanation.
TikTok user Liam Donafee didn’t offer one. When he shared his now-viral video on Aug. 2, he left out a caption, or any words explaining what his clip meant.
Instead, he let his actions do the talking. In the clip, Donafee can be seen bathing in a tub full of hot dogs — while fully clothed and even wearing shoes (which aren’t even matching).

TikTok users were more than a little confused by Donafee’s actions, calling his video “unsettling” and “uncomfortable.”
“How do you delete someone else’s video,” one user asked.
“Are you OK?” another asked.
“I don’t think I can explain how much I hate this,” another added.
It’s unclear why Donafee sacrificed his clothes — and several dozens of hot dogs — for TikTok fame, but it does seem like his plan worked. His clip has now been viewed almost 1 million times.
The video is also part of a larger trend on the app, which has seen users pushing the limits on weird, hot dog-themed behavior.
Basically, the trend involves an obsession with the word “glizzy,” which is just another word for a hot dog. For the past several weeks, TikTok users have recorded glizzy videos everywhere — in yards, at their homes and even with their video game consoles.
Additionally, Donafee soundtracked his video to “Be Happy,” the debut single by TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio.
The track earned some mixed reviews from fans, but has drawn plenty of airplay and even led to the 19-year-old signing a record deal with HitCo Entertainment.
What any of that has to do with hot dogs (or baths, or mix-matched shoes), might stay a mystery forever.
