In Dream Big, Live Small, we visit tiny home-dwellers, discovering why they choose to live this way, how they manage it and the possibilities to do things like travel, learn and grow that have resulted from downsizing so significantly. In the long run, living small is really about living big.

When moving into a tiny home, downsizing of clothes, household goods and other items is often a must. But that was one of the perks for this Florida couple who wanted to downsize in order to be both debt and stress-free.

In this episode of Dream Big, Live Small, you’ll get a glimpse inside Tim Davidson and Sam Cosner’s tiny home in Sarasota, Florida, which was designed after a 1920s-style bungalow. It’s even complete with stained glass windows and barreled ceilings.

“The main reason we wanted to downsize was, one, to have a better impact on the environment and, two, to have less things in order to focus on the important things like family, friends and life experiences,” Tim said.

With butcher-block countertops throughout, hidden closet storage and a full-size fridge and shower, Tim and Sam are living large in their tiny home. And you’re not going to want to miss the vintage-inspired stained glass used throughout, too.

“What we love about tiny living is that there’s less possessions, less maintenance and upkeep and more experiences,” Sam said.
