When Tracee Ellis Ross graced us curly and coily-headed folk with her Pattern Beauty line, it did what needed to be done. Now, with Pattern Beauty mini tools hitting the shelves, we can get glam on-the-go.

I don’t know about you, but there are still people in my life that are traveling locally. I’ve attended had my own quarantined staycation and, for four days, I had an entire suitcase of beauty supplies, including the full-size Pattern shower brush, the wide-tooth comb and the hair pick. But having the Pattern mini tools probably would have lightened the load I was carrying in addition to my clothes.

Shop: Pattern Mini Tools Kit, $37

The Pattern Mini Tools Kit features baby versions of the original shower brush and the wide-tooth comb. However, in this mini kit, you also get a zip pouch for travel. The mini tools also work in tandem with the On-The-Go Kit, which features smaller versions of the showering products and the mini stylers bundle, which is currently out of stock. However, you can still swipe up on the Travel-size Strong Hold Gel, Leave-In Conditioner, Curl Gel and Styling Cream.

If you don’t want the entire kit, you can also shop the mini tools separately. The mini shower brush is only $9 compared to the full-sized version’s $17 price tag. Not to mention, the mini wide-tooth comb runs for a dollar less. So, even if you’re not looking to travel, you can certainly save a few dollars on these smaller, but still effective, hair tools.
