Though many of us are still quarantining with limited travel or human interaction, there’s still personal care that needs to be done. With that said, is anyone else in desperate need of an eyebrow appointment?
Brows are a top priority for me, and I’m always in need of eyebrow razors to clean things up. As someone who has sensitive skin, it’s essentially impossible to rely on waxes or threading for hair removal. So when I stumbled on these Amazon best-selling eyebrow razors, I had to investigate.
Shop: Schick Silk Touch-Up Multipurpose Dermaplaning Tool, $4.99
First, I have to give it up for these eyebrow razors that are small enough to clean up around my brows, but large enough to allow me to dermaplane. Said to “shape eyebrows, remove fine hairs and even smooth skin,” these Schick hair trimmers are the real deal. And I am proud to say that I did not knick myself a single time while shaving.
You may be wondering if dermaplaning is even a necessity. Let me assure you, it is. According to Skin Expert, “Dermaplaning provides an effective and safe exfoliation treatment that promotes deeper product penetration, boosting the effects of skincare products while making the skin look and feel smoother. It is also beneficial for reducing the appearance of acne scars.”
Secondly, for only $5, you get a pack of three razors, which is undeniably a steal. It’s also economical. Usually, I like to use my razors only a few times before tossing, even when using alcohol wipes to clean the blade in-between shaves.
Finally, I love products that others love, too. With 75 percent of the product’s 49,600 reviews being five stars, it’s safe to assume this is a beauty item that may change your beauty life.
“I’ve been dry shaving my entire face and some of my neck with these. There’s no irritation, plus it is the closest shave I’ve ever had,” wrote one five-star reviewer.
However, some customers say the razors are best for cleaning up around the brows instead of dermaplaning. But that is the only major gripe in the product’s reviews.
“I saved one just for cleaning up fine white hairs under my brow, using the guard that comes with the product,” wrote one reviewer who gave the product three stars. “For that purpose, it worked fine and it could be a useful tool for many.”
Regardless, I suggest being cautious when using this product (because, duh, razors). Make sure to test it first on a small patch of skin. Needless to say, I will certainly be using these razors to get my face together while stuck indoors.
