Amazon‘s countless in-house products have a huge cult following — and that includes the retailer’s top-rated and highly-reviewed Echo Show. In fact, its fifth-generation release already has 115,000 five-star ratings and counting.

Part of the gadget’s perks is that it’s incredibly affordable. The Echo Show 5 retails for upwards of $90, which is significantly less than competitive products like the Facebook Portal Mini, which retails for $80 while on sale. That being said, you can now get the Echo Show 5 for $74.99 (with some extra perks) as part of the Amazon Echo Show 5 Kitchen Bundle.

The bundle, which includes the Echo Show 5 and a complimentary Food Network Kitchen subscription, is one of Amazon’s most popular Echo offerings. And the deal recently took a price cut, now available for $40 off — but only for a limited time.

Featuring a compact, 5.5-inch display and built-in Alexa, the Amazon Echo Show 5 is one of the most popular smart gadgets on the market. The sleek device allows users to “voice or video call friends and family with compatible Echo devices, the Alexa app or Skype.”

Aside from its calling capabilities, this device also serves as a streaming hub, allowing users to watch movies, news and TV shows. It also doubles as an output for other streaming methods, including music, radio and audiobooks.

With the Echo Show 5 Kitchen Bundle, users get exclusive access to live cooking classes with Food Network chefs and culinary experts. As an extended perk, users will also have access to full-length episodes of Food Network shows and recipes.

It should be noted that, after the free one-year subscription ends, your Food Network Kitchen subscription will auto-renew for a fee starting at $39.99 per year. Users can cancel at any time without any risk of being charged a fee.

Another favorite Echo feature is the device’s ability to turn any living space into a “smart home,” thanks to its Ring compatibility. The device can connect to compatible smart home devices, like Ring doorbells and light bulbs, allowing users to see who is at their front doors or turn the lights on from anywhere in their homes.

For added privacy, the Echo Show 5 has a built-in switch to easily allow users to cover the camera hole. Among a laundry list of additional features, the gadget boasts an ambient sunrise feature, alarm and timer integrations and an easy three-step setup.

To set up the device, simply plug the Echo Show 5 into a wall outlet, connect to the internet and ask Alexa whatever you’d like.

With over 30,000 five-star ratings, the Echo Show 5 is one of the most highly-reviewed releases from Amazon’s device lineup. One reviewer outlined that the easy-to-use touchscreen makes it “a real winner” in their eyes.

“Everything is well done for the price. It gets easier to use each iteration,” the shopper wrote. “For me, the price is great. Everything works. Highly recommended.”

Many shoppers say the Echo Show 5 is their “favorite Echo device,” with one reviewer adding it’s the “best darn product for the home.”

However, the Amazon Echo Show 5 can only video call other Echo products or devices that have Alexa or Skype. While this could be a deal-breaker for some, few reviewers have voiced any issue with this.
