The 10 most-liked TikToks of all time

The most-liked TikToks have one thing in common: They’re all fun. Social media can be a little emotionally draining, but TikTok remains a platform where folks can enjoy themselves.

So if you like science, choreography, Cardi B and/or The Rock, this list of the most-liked TikToks of all time might be the perfect pick-me-up.

10. David Dobrik’s elephant toothpaste experiment — 18.1M likes

It’s unsurprising that a world record experiment as visually stunning as this made it onto the list of most-liked TikToks.

David Dobrik and Nick Uhas set out to make the world’s largest “elephant toothpaste” in Sept. 2019. The trick requires mixing hydrogen peroxide, soap, food coloring dye and potassium iodide, which ramps up the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. This chemical cocktail turns into oxygen gas, which gets trapped in the soapy bubbles and becomes foam — lots of foam, as you’ll see in this hit TikTok.

9. Nich Uhas’ elephant toothpaste experiment with David Dobrik — 18.7M likes

Funny story: When Dobrik and Uhas set out to break the world record in Sept. 2019, they were sure they had done it. Then YouTuber and former NASA engineer Mark Rober contested their experiment, saying he had actually set the world record for the largest elephant toothpaste experiment in his pool. So the duo did it again in Dec. 2019 to secure the title and 9th place on the list of most-liked videos on TikTok.
