Twitter users have gone crazy over a Halloween display that hits a little too close to home this year.
Comedian Brian Stack shared a photo of his neighbor’s elaborate Halloween display, where a skeleton is sitting at a desk and on a Zoom call with other skeletons. It looks exactly like what happens to me when I am in a Zoom meeting after 5 p.m.
The neighbor, Judy Tygard, apparently has had creative Halloween lawn decorations before.
“Last year, they had a skeleton being chased up a tree by a dog skeleton,” Stack wrote in a follow-up tweet.
Others chimed in to share their neighborhood lawn decorations and they did not disappoint — one even included the enormous Home Depot skeleton.
“That is genius!” someone replied.
“This is flawless and they deserve an award,” another added.
People across the U.S. have had a lot of fun with the Halloween decorations this year. One man in New York built a giant animatronic spider, complete with baby spiders dangling from a massive web in front of his house.
In areas like suburban Chicago, Halloween lawn decor is a competition worth any cost. People work on props for months — especially this year, where several people interviewed by the Chicago Tribune said that layoffs earlier in the year inspired them to focus on crafting for Halloween.
