When you need a quick party decoration and don’t have time to order something from Amazon, you can use your DIY skills to make your own paper decorations.

In this episode of Home Hacks, we’ll show you how to turn colorful paper into 3D decorative stars.

Below, we’ve outlined all the supplies you’ll need to create these easy but gorgeous decorations.

Supplies you need:

Instructions:

  1. Fold paper in half diagonally.
  2. Repeat in opposite direction.
  3. Fold down the center and repeat.
  4. Cut halfway to center from each edge.
  5. Fold flaps inward to meet each other.
  6. Use glue to stick flaps together.
  7. Repeat steps 1-6 with another piece of paper.
  8. Tie a knot.
  9. Glue down knot and add glue to star points.
  10. Join two sides together.
