This video of Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello lives rent-free in my brain

America’s favorite, most confusing celebrity couple continues to find ways to entertain the paparazzi and all of Twitter.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are no strangers to publicity. In fact, everything I know about this couple has been against my will. At the start of quarantine, the couple started a bizarre trend (for themselves) of walking together outside Cabello’s family residence in Miami, in various loose-fitting outfits for media outlets that were stationed outside.

One video of their morning walks caught traction on Twitter because of how slowly the couple moved.

“There’s this one video of Camila and I, and we’re like, walking down the street really slow. We almost look like zombies from ‘The Walking Dead,'” Mendes said in an interview with People. “We were just like, ‘Let’s just walk slow and kind of just meditate and be chill.'”

After grappling with separate work schedules for the last couple of weeks, the duo has announced to the world that they are back together with a crazy video of them trying to walk their three dogs at the same time.

“LOOOL! They called the paps for this foolishness?” one Twitter user replied.

The video shows a distressed Cabello trying to wrangle two yappy dogs who seem distracted by something out of frame. Mendes, in the background, looks as though he has never met a dog before in his life as he tries to maintain control over a large black dog. Pandemonium ensues when Cabello picks up one of the dogs as the other starts running circles around the group.

Some people on Twitter used the video to say that ~ celebrities are just like us ~ or that Mendes and Cabello just two human beings trying to walk their overly excited puppies.

But most people thought it was the funniest video they’d ever seen, especially of a couple who seems to try very hard to control how they’re perceived by the public.

“WHEN SHE JUMPED TO GRAB THE DOG I LOST IT,” one person said.
