Woman films cooking tutorial and accidentally creates optical illusion

A home chef was just trying to share a Taco Bell copycat recipe with her followers when they noticed something unusual about her video.

In the video, which has more than 172,000 views, TikTok foodie @eatinwithella goes through the steps to make a homemade version of Taco Bell’s Cheesy Gordita Crunch.

Though the final product is mouthwatering, that’s not what people commented on; rather, they couldn’t stop talking about how at the beginning of the video, it looks like @eatinwithella places the hard taco shell upside down.

Truly, all people can talk about in the comments is the optical illusion.

“Am I tripping or was that upside down?” one person asked.

“I’m so confused,” another added. “I’ve watched this a million and one times and it looks normal to me. My brain hurts.”

“THIS IS SUCH A GREAT OPTICAL ILLUSION,” a third wrote.

Following all the confused comments, @eatinwithella showed the video to her mom, who agreed that it looked like her daughter placed the shell upside down.

“Yes, it looks like the tortilla’s upside down!” her mom exclaimed while watching the original video. “I see it.”

If you watch the video enough times, you’ll eventually be able to see it both ways. (Just do so on mute, otherwise you are never going to want to listen to “Positions” again.)
