Student makes grand entrance to class with eyebrow-raising introduction

A student has TikTok in tears after sharing an introduction she made in her English class.

On Jan. 27, user @heyitsjacki shared a hilarious clip in which she introduces herself in her virtual class. Throughout it all, she manages to keep a straight face.

“Hi, my name is Jacqueline,” she begins. “I go by Jacqueline or Jackie, whatever you prefer really.”

Jacqueline then goes on to describe her likes and dislikes.

“One of my favorite things is probably … weed,” she says, with a completely deadpan expression. “And one of my least favorite is racism.”

It’s clear that the Jacqueline doesn’t seem thrilled to be in the English class — in fact, she seems to confirm it herself, writing a noticeable hashtag in the video’s caption: #ifreakinghateenglish.

The clip has since gone viral, receiving over 4.6 million views and thousands of comments from entertained users.

“I really didn’t know what my expectations were for this video but I was definitely not disappointed,” one person wrote.

“These are the values on which the new America should be founded,” another joked.

“That was quite bold jackie,” a third quipped.

At least one university couldn’t resist getting in on the fun as well.

“Starting off spring semester 21 semester strong,” the TikTok account for CUNY — otherwise known as the City University of New York — commented.

It’s unclear how Jacqueline’s English class reacted to her brief introduction, but the TikToker revealed in the comments section of her TikTok that her economics teacher did find out about it and asked whether it was appropriate to watch.

If you ask us, not only is Jacqueline’s TikTok appropriate to watch, it’s worth replaying over and over again.
