Skiers and snowboarders know firsthand how cold a day spent on the mountain can get. And while standard puffer coats and parkas are obvious choices to bring on any winter trip, heated jackets can also help provide the same warmth and then some.

That’s one reason why many Amazon shoppers have zeroed in on this Ororo Heated Jacket with Battery Pack and Detachable Hood. With over 6,000 customer ratings and a No. 1 best-seller badge, this jacket is one cold-weather essential that may be worth adding to your closet. Plus, it’s 25% off right now!

Available in four colors and sizes S-XXL, part of this design’s uniqueness comes from its design and soft-shell exterior. While some jackets are wide in the body, this one has a special slim fit to help better trap heat and provide a more stylish look.

Once the jacket’s on, the heat travels to three main areas including, left chest, right chest and mid-back. Also, the jacket doesn’t take long to turn on and the battery lasts up to 10 hours. Not to mention, it comes with a USB port so you can charge your phone and other electronics while you stay warm.

Although it’s a bit pricey, many Amazon shoppers say it’s a “fantastic product” to have on hand. One shopper even called the jacket a “godsend” for those who hate the cold.

Another reviewer compared it to their North Face jacket and praised it for keeping them warm during their motorcycle trips.

“[It’s a] great thick quality jacket,” they commented. “[It] looks like my NorthFace [jacket] but [is] way thicker. [It’s] very warm without the heat on. The battery and heat power are extremely strong.  I use [it] for motorcycle riding in Washington state all year long.”

Although the majority of reviews were seemingly positive, one common complaint shoppers noted was having to unzip the entire jacket to turn it off or back on. But even so, this didn’t appear to be a major drawback.

As one shopper mentioned, “My only complaint is the battery. Besides that, everything else about this jacket is perfect. [It’s] great for us who don’t like the cold!”
