Dark circles aren’t always easy to treat, especially when you’re on a budget. From high-end treatments to costly formulas, buying a best-selling and popular eye cream can put a huge dent in your wallet.

One option on Amazon, however, has high ratings and glowing reviews — and costs just under $13.

Cetaphil, a popular drugstore brand, sells a hydrating gel eye cream made to “brighten and smooth the under eye area for a well-rested look,” according to its product description.

Packed with hyaluronic acid, this product helps hydrate the delicate area around your eye for a more refreshed appearance and includes nourishing ingredients like licorice extract and a vitamin complex. If you have sensitive skin, this eye gel-cream is gentle, hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested.

With more than 5,500 ratings and 4.4 out of 5 stars, many reviewers rave about the product’s effectiveness. One five-star reviewer wrote, “I saw results within hours. The gel [has a] light-weight feeling, [is] smooth, doesn’t sting/burn and has no scent. [I’m a] new lifetime consumer of this product!”

“I bought this product because I use Cetaphil’s other products and have been very pleased with the results,” another shopper explained. “When I can’t sleep my required seven hours, this product gets rid of the circles and ‘bags’ under the eyes without adding artificial color.”

While the formula is perfect for those with sensitive skin, it’s still helpful to do a patch test before applying it to the delicate skin under your eyes.

If you’re looking for a top-rated, affordable and effective eye cream, this one is worth adding to your regimen.
