Celebrate with a bang this 4th of July with these festive beverages

A festive 4th of July celebration calls for barbecues, fireworks and some flag-themed food and beverages. So why not raise a glass and party with some patriotic potions this Independence Day? From an “Ameritini” cocktail to a red, white and blueberry mocktail, here are five 4th of July cocktail recipes to let freedom ring.

1. 4th of July “Ameritini” cocktail

Martinis are a classic American cocktail, and this rendition in particular shows an allegiance to the flag. Start by adding vanilla-flavored vodka and peach schnapps to a shaker over ice. Once shaken, pour sour cherry schnapps into a martini glass, followed by the shaken vanilla vodka and peach schnapps. Finally, top with prosecco and blue curaçao, and bottoms up!

2. 4th of July red, white and blue margarita cocktail

This margarita recipe is a surefire crowd-pleaser. Start by adding tequila to a large pitcher, followed by elderflower liqueur and blue curaçao. Next, strain fresh squeezed lime juice into the pitcher. Then add ice and gently stir. Finally, toss in some strawberries, and garnish with a few mint leaves before serving.

3. 4th of July raspberry boom mocktail
