Let’s go fly a kite, up to the highest height!
That’s exactly what one adorable grandmother did to celebrate becoming a centenarian — all the while sporting a contagious smile.
Dottie Slater, of Santa Barbara, brought out her inner kid with the help of her granddaughter, Saije Bashaw, by flying a kite high over some California palm trees.
The adorable elder beamed while holding the string of the favorite childhood toy as Bashaw filmed the interaction.
“We’re hoping that it doesn’t end up in traffic,” Bashaw can be heard laughing in a clip of the milestone celebration.
Clearly, Dottie is 100 years young.
