When it comes to the summertime, nine times out of 10, you’ll find me in a pair of flip-flops.
Comfortable, classic and easy to slide on and off, there’s a reason that flip-flops are the shoe of the summer. And while they aren’t necessarily appropriate for all warm weather occasions, you can get away with them at most. Plus, they’re typically not expensive, so it’s a win all around.
So when Amazon shoppers couldn’t stop raving about Crocs’s Kadie II Flip Flops, I knew I needed a pair.
Crocs Kadie II Flip Flops, $21.74 – $24.99
Available in more than 10 colors and in whole sizes 4-11, these flip-flops are basic in the best way. They come in solid colors, are super lightweight and feature a simple design. The fact that they’re also water-friendly and buoyant only makes them more perfect for the summertime. (The grippy footbed that helps prevent slips also doesn’t hurt.)
According to the brand, these sandals are “Croslite foam [which] offers an Iconic Crocs Comfort that is perfect for relaxing at the beach or flippin’ around town.” And if the fact that these sandals are Crocs turns you off, don’t worry — the branding is minimal and monochrome.
These shoes are currently a No. 1 best seller on Amazon and have earned more than 24,000 five-star ratings. One happy reviewer called these shoes the “best flip-flops EVER” and declared, “I will never buy another brand of flip flops again! These are the most comfortable and durable ones I’ve ever owned.” Another pleased shopper said these are “the most comfortable flip flops I’ve ever owned!”
At just about $25 (prices vary depending on the color), we don’t feel guilty adding more than one pair to our Amazon carts.
