Your feet are pretty important. You use them to stand, walk, run, shop — just about everything. So when they hurt, it can really affect your daily life.
Compression socks can help improve circulation to reduce swelling. According to the product description, put these on, and you’ll feel relief almost immediately. “Our Power Support technology provides targeted foot, heel, arch and ankle support in all the right places — without restricting your motion,” it reads.
The socks are especially beneficial for those that have plantar fasciitis. (Plantar fasciitis occurs when the plantar facia ligament that runs from your heel to your toes is inflamed). They feature a reinforced shock-absorbing heel and ankle cushion for relieving heel spurs as well.
You can wear the socks on their own, but seeing as how they don’t cover the toes, you can wear them over or under your regular socks as well.
The lycra compression socks are lightweight and breathable, and their moisture-wicking fabric keeps feet dry, too.
Wear them every day for work, regular chores, running errands, or if you need extra support while working out.
“I’ve tried so many at-home remedies: icing, stretching, wearing shoes with support, but honestly the only thing that has provided both quick and lasting relief has been these socks,” wrote an Amazon reviewer who said they suffer from foot pain caused by plantar fasciitis or heel spurs.
Another reviewer wrote: “I work in retail and obviously spend a lot of time standing, walking, running up and down stockroom stairs. I’ve found these socks comfortable enough to wear all day or slip on when I get home to relieve swelling and fatigue.”
However, one reviewer pointed out that while these compression socks will help with plantar fasciitis, they won’t cure it. You should still see a doctor to help you treat any pain.
“These most definitely alleviate some of the discomfort associated with plantar fasciitis; however, don’t make the mistake thinking these socks will cure you,” wrote the reviewer. “The socks provide exceptional support and are of great quality and comfortable. But you can’t rely on wearing them 24/7 and think the pain will go away.”
The compression socks come in five colors — white, black, gray, beige and hot pink — and come in sizes for both men and women. If your feet are suffering, try wearing these, and you will feel a difference.
