Australian ballroom dancer and “Strictly Come Dancing” star Natalie Lowe recently shared an amusing photo of her dog Cooper as she and her family continue to remain in quarantine.
On June 10, Lowe posted a photo of Cooper showing off his top knot, along with his luscious locks.
“You know you’ve been in #lockdown FOREVER when your dog needs a top knot to keep his hair off his face,” she wrote. “Cooper your not the only one desperate for a #haircut darlin.”
The rib-tickling post has since received over 1,000 comments and plenty of comments from entertained Instagram users.
“This is too adorable,” one person wrote.
“Your doggy is soooo cute and soft, like a lovely teddy,” another added.
In April, a jewelry designer attempted to groom her Pomeranian while in quarantine and similarly shared a humorous photo of the result. That post received more than 3,500 likes and over 1,000 comments.
As PETA notes, dog owners should be mindful when trying to groom their pets. Owners should find a safe and well-lit place and use the appropriate dog-grooming equipment. The organization also cautions against grooming too quickly, using scented shampoo and bathing dogs too frequently.
