Palvin was discovered in Budapest at age 12 while running errands with her mother. Soon after, she relocated to Asia to model full-time.
She made her runway debut for Prada at Milan Fashion Week in Fall 2010 at just 17 years old. In 2012 at 18, she became the face of L’Oreal Paris. She walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that same year and returned as the first Hungarian Angel in 2018. She was also Sports Illustrated’s Rookie of the Year in 2016.

Palvin has dated actor Dylan Sprouse since 2018, and the two currently reside in Brooklyn together. Sprouse is a former child star whose breakout role was in Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and The Suite Life on Deck. He is Riverdale actor Cole Sprouse’s twin brother.
The couple met on Instagram after Palvin followed Sprouse and he messaged her in the summer of 2018. They became Instagram official on Sprouse’s 26th birthday, Aug. 4.
“Even though it’s your birthday I feel I just got the biggest present of all. Happy birthday, Boss Baby,” Palvin captioned an Instagram photo of the two of them.
Palvin regularly posts Instagram photos of Sprouse. During the lockdown, the couple created a web series together called Breaking Ground with Dylan & Barbara.

“In high school, I had a friend who would watch Naruto with me, but that faded away. When [Dylan] came into my life, I was like, I’m home, baby,” Palvin told W.
