On Feb. 1, user @misslilbit responded to user @allycat.99’s question by showing off her air-based cooling, warming and sweat-drying sleep system.
The BedJet, which was invented by ex-NASA spacesuit engineer Mark Aramli and retails for $399 on Amazon, consists of a motor that emits cool air or heat underneath a mattress sheet through a tube. The device, which uses biorhythm sleep technology and can be operated by a remote control, supposedly helps eliminate body sweat. Its makers also claim that it pays for itself — as there’s no need to set a thermostat in your home once you have the BedJet on.
“It actually blows cool air or heat …. underneath your sheet at night while you’re sleeping,” @misslilbit says in her clip, which has gotten nearly 90,000 likes. “It is amazing.”

Apparently, that feature alone was enough to convince TikTok users to get a BedJet of their own.
“I’ve been wanting one of these for so long,” one person wrote.
“I need this,” another simply added.
The product has also been a hit on Amazon, where it has over 1,000 ratings and where users have raved about it.
“Like most … people here, I was apprehensive about spending so much on a fan but it has turned out to be worth it,” one happy customer wrote. “I’ve never slept so well in the summer, even when I used to turn the A/C down and use several fans. I’ve been using this for two months now and have hardly ever woken up hot since.”
“A very good investment if you have temperature-related sleeping trouble,’ a second posted. “I don’t think I could live without mine.”
