Chipotle is sharing a behind-the-scenes look at how some of its organic beverages are made.
The fast-casual chain is selling a new line of organic teas, lemonades and agua frescas, all of which are available in participating locations starting on July 21.
All of the new drinks are brewed by Tractor Beverage Co., a non-GMO producer committed to organic farming and using real ingredients. To go along with the partnership, Chipotle shared a video of how the company produces, bottles and mixes its drinks
In the video above, teas are brewed in a giant metal vat before entering a mesmerizing bottling line. Inside the conveyor belt, each drink is poured and sealed before being led away for shipping.
Chipotle’s new drink menu includes four new items for dine-in and carry-out orders only: Organic Lemonade, Organic Hibiscus Lemonade, Organic Mandarin Agua Fresca and Organic Berry Agua Fresca.
Additionally, bottles of Organic Lemonade and Organic Black Tea will also be available for delivery, as well as dine-in and carry-out.
The drinks are also for a good cause. Chipotle announced in a press release that five percent of its profits from the Tractor Beverage drinks will go toward supporting farmers nationwide. That news comes as several sectors of the U.S. agriculture industry have struggled during the pandemic.
“Adding Tractor Beverage Co. products and introducing Beverages with Integrity is a notable evolution for the Chipotle menu,” Chris Brandt, Chipotle;’s chief marketing officer said in the press release. “Now our fans can enjoy delicious, all-natural drinks made with real ingredients while supporting the farming community.”
