I am very low maintenance when it comes to my hair care routine. In fact, my ideal scenario is waking up, doing nothing to my hair and still looking presentable.

Seem totally unrealistic? Not exactly! My secret is a seriously good stash of hair accessories, namely headbands. I wear one almost every single day because they make it look like I put in some effort when I really haven’t.

Right now, I’m really into knotted headbands because they add some dimension and visual interest. Plus, there are so many colors, prints and materials to choose from, your headband really can be the star of your outfit. When you don’t have a ton of money to spend on new clothes, spend just a little on a few new headbands that can act as the perfect new accessory to jazz up the clothes you already own.

Want to give the headband trend a try? Check out some of the best knotted headbands that you can buy for as little as $12 below.
