Hello! Are you curious about what’s new and (actually) worth spending your money on right now but don’t know where to start? Welcome to In The Know’s weekly Best New Arrivals roundup. Here, I — a literal professional online shopper and lifestyle editor with years of experience — break down the best new arrivals that I think you should definitely be shopping.
For the best new arrivals this week and celebrity brand collabs, Our Place x Selena Gomez has to be my favorite. “My main goal when I’m cooking is to have fun,” Selena said of her inspiration for this line. “This collection is designed for home cooks like me who just need easy-to-use, multifunctional products.”
The Our Place x Selena Gomez collection includes two limited-edition colors: Azul and Rosa (pictured). The collab includes the fan-favorite Always Pan, The Perfect Pot, knives, dishes and drinking glasses (a personal favorite of mine).
There’s even a Dinner at Selena’s Bundle that includes the Always Pan, Drinking Glasses and Main Plates for just $215. I mean, The Always Pan by itself is a surefire win, but why not just grab the whole bundle and pretend you’re actually having dinner at Selena’s?
Kim Kardashian just dropped a whole new set of summer colors for the SKIMS Fits Everybody collection. I’m partial to this Daffodil bodysuit since green is officially the color of the season this year, but the drop also includes Sorbet and Nectarine. The new SKIMS drop also includes underwear, bras and more.
When makeup legend Pat McGrath announced that she was dropping her first skin care product, an essence, the beauty world actually screamed with joy. Finally available for purchase, the Divine Skin: Rose 001™ The Essence features a transformative biphase formula that works double duty to address dull, dehydrated skin and bring out the glow in an instant.
No brand does leather slides better than Madewell. This new pair is everything you want in a casual shoe for running errands or, honestly, a chill summer wedding. I adore how different the woven pattern looks, which is why I just slammed that “add to cart” button.
5. cocokind Silk SPF, $25
This affordable, hydrating sunscreen from TikTok-favorite brand cocokind truly does it all. Tested by nearly 2,000 cocokind community members, the broad-spectrum SPF 30 hybrid formula blends easily, leaves no white cast, works well with acne-prone skin, boosts hydration and protects skin against UVA/UVB rays and environmental stressors.
Also, a friendly reminder that all of the money you spend on your skin care routine is going in the trash unless you wear daily SPF!
6. Alo Airbrush Streamlined Bra Tank, $51 (Orig. $64)
If you didn’t know by now, no brand does wearable athleisure better than Alo. I’m so obsessed with the black piping paired with white on this bra tank. It’s actually the ideal day-to-night look that women’s magazines in the early 2000s said you needed. Wear it to a pilates class, wear it to the bar — I don’t care! You can also wear it with matching leggings, which I highly encourage.
FWIW, Alo is also in the middle of its first-ever “Aloversary sale” — you can take 20% off your entire purchase.
This week, Spanx released a new collection of white pants and shorts made with proprietary “Silver Lining” technology that provides 100% opacity. Hear that? That means you won’t have to spend all summer worrying about your underwear peeking through your ‘fit. I’m so glad someone was listening to my pleas!
8. Abercrombie & Fitch Tie-Strap Smocked Midi Dress, $102 (Orig. $120)
Why yes, you should absolutely wear this Abercrombie midi dress to every single summer wedding you’re invited to this year.
