As someone with long, thick and coarse hair, I understand how time-consuming blow-drying can be. Anytime I try to straighten my tightly-coiled locks, it takes at least 30 minutes, and my arms are completely exhausted by the end.
But regardless of hair type, trying to style and give yourself a flawless blowout takes some serious dedication and work. That’s one reason why the Bestie Blow Dryer Holder is a handy tool to have in your bathroom.
It’s a wall mount that props up your blow dryer so you can dry your hair hands-free. So, for those with dexterity issues or those who can’t style their hair efficiently with just one hand, this could be the perfect workaround.
When mounted, the Bestie Holder can pivot and reposition so you can direct the airflow however you’d like. You can also move the holder up and down to accommodate your height and styling needs.

Created by hairstylist Jennifer West, the device was originally a gift for her grandmother who lost mobility after a stroke. But after seeing how practical it was for decreasing her own blow-drying time, West decided to start a business.
“My goal was to make it fun to get ready again and eliminate the hassle of drying and styling my hair with limited time and resources to achieve the look I wanted,” West said in a post on the company’s website.
As mentioned in the description, the holder is perfect for “standard hair dryers of all weights and sizes,” except for travel size blow dryers or dryers with buttons on the side.
For added convenience, it comes with everything you need to mount it including, ABS plastic, rubber, metal snap rings and metal screws and plastic wall anchors.
Although there aren’t many reviews for the product, the Bestie Blow Dryer Holder does has a 4.5-star rating on The Grommet. In fact, one reviewer pointed out how it helped make their hairstyling easier after dealing with “neurological issues” in their arms and hands.
“It has been a real blessing!” they wrote. “It looks sleek on the wall, maneuvers well, and allows me to work the brush without having to hold up that heavy dryer.”
Another reviewer echoed a similar sentiment, saying it “truly takes away the shoulder and arm stress when blow-drying.” However the same shopper mentioned one fault with the device: “One improvement would be for the holder to adjust to fatter-handled hair dryers, other than that this is the bomb!”
