Among the measures put in place to lessen the spread of COVID-19, wearing a mask sits pretty high on that list. In fact, according to the CDC, the latest science affirms that “cloth face coverings are a critical tool in the fight against COVID-19.”
With this in mind, several brands and retailers (both small businesses and large retailers) have produced their fair share of cloth face masks. However, as most of us have learned, they are not all made equally.
After trying a handful myself, I’ve found that Black-owned brand Henry face masks are, by far, the most comfortable, stylish and durable options I’ve worn to date. Plus, my glasses rarely fog up when I wear them for long periods. And the small business’ celebrity-loved-turned-cult-favorite face masks are now available on Amazon!
Also, to avoid any movement or fit issues, each mask comes with an additional back strap to ensure a snug and comfortable fit. The packaging is also top-tier, with each mask coming individually-housed in a thick sealed, bag for storage when the mask is not in use. The bag can also fit in any purse or even your pocket.
These have become my masks of choice for the past two months as, in addition to being comfortable to wear for extended periods, they’re easy on the eyes and seamlessly cover my nose without budging.
My glasses also tend to stay put and not slide off my face when I’m wearing them over these masks.
