In the series $1K Dream Room, host Will Taylor uses a modest budget of $1,000 to turn drab spaces into dream apartments.

In this episode of $1K Dream RoomWill Taylor of Bright Bazaar is on a mission to update Elena’s bedroom in her new apartment.

With lots of natural light in Elena’s Brooklyn bedroom, the space has a lot of potential. Since she just moved in, the room is still simple and lacks color. She’s looking for an update to her bedroom that includes a touch of personality but is also still organized.

With an almost completely blank slate, Taylor has some ideas to go bold with color for the room. He ends up painting the room, choosing two different colors, which gives the effect that the room is larger.

After adding a few more accents including brass mirrors and pops of artwork throughout, Elena’s room looks completely different.
