Coupled up women are celebrating their boos with the “I hate all men… But when he loves me” trend.
The meme is taking over TikTok as women show off all the things their boyfriends and husbands do that make them exceptional partners.
What is the “But When He Loves Me” trend on TikTok?
The heartwarming meme features a slowed-down cover of Beach Bunny’s “Cloud 9” performed by the singer Paravi. The song starts with the premise “I hate all men,” then goes into the lyrics, “But when he loves me, I feel like I’m floating. When he calls me pretty, I feel like somebody.”
The user Ridwan went viral with over 1.3 million likes when she gave the world a peek at her husband. She showed him fussing with his hair on an escalator, the two of them dressed to the nines in a car and just hanging outside.
Here are some more examples of the ‘But When He Loves Me’ trend.
Not everyone has a human man in their life they wanted to shout out. Pet owner @boujeebuster used the meme to show her raccoon some love.
Then @maomaobean shared the moment her fiancé proposed. She also roasted him a bit because he took his shoes off when he got down on one knee.
User @georgefanacct had a different take. She watched a video of her wedding.
“When my husband got on the ground with me when I fell during our first dance,” she captioned the video.
She took a huge spill and slid on the floor in her wedding gown, but her husband wasn’t afraid to dive right on the ground with her. The two spun together so it looked like a dance move. What could have been embarrassing became an unforgettable moment shared between them.
The TikTok racked up over 6.8 million views.
“I got goosebumps,” one person commented.
“OK. I’m crying,” another said.
“This is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen,” someone wrote.
