If there’s ever been a time for candles to have a shining moment, it’s now. Cereal-scented candles in particular haven been on the rise, and this spike in popularity is thanks to — you guessed it — creators on TikTok

If you hadn’t noticed, nostalgia is big these days, and its impact on the candle world is no exception. That’s where cereal candles come in. What’s more throwback than thinking about childhood mornings spent eating cereal and watching cartoons?

Right now, TikTokers are really loving the Funny French Vanilla Cereal Bowl with Metal Spoon Scented Candle. Creator @brooklynnwegohard recently shared a video on how the candle is assembled. First, the creator displays the candle’s “milk” wax base, then adds the cereal pieces, marshmallow wax pieces and then lights the small piece of wax. The video of the cereal-scented candle being assembled now has over 4.2 million views and over 400,000 loves.

The candle isn’t just a hit on the app. The cereal candle actually has a 4.2 out of five-star rating from shoppers on Amazon, too. One customer said that the cereal-scented candle was slightly small, but still a great gift.

“A little smaller than I thought it would be,” they wrote, “but so cute! Smells like cereal lol, I love it.”

Another shopper noted that even without the candle lit, you can still smell the vanilla scent.

“Haven’t lit it, but it smells like vanilla and it looks like a real bowl of cereal,” they wrote in the review.

Candles are an easy way to boost your mood, and at less than $30 this one is must-buy. No matter how tempting it may be, though, don’t try to eat it.
