If you want to get a little glow before you hit the beach, self-tanner is your best (and safest) bet. That said, there are probably hundreds of self-tanners to choose from. However, not all are as popular right now as Coco & Eve’s Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam.
The brand recently went viral on TikTok, and its bronzing foam is selling out fast. In fact, the brand reports that it saw a 350% increase in website sales.
Coco & Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam, $35
Coincidentally, it was around the same time that TikTok influencer @gracekellyann posted about her hunt to find the tanner in stock — with no luck at two Ulta stores! — but eventually, she got her hands on it and tried it out for her followers. Spoiler alert: She loved it, and it looks amazing on her. At the time of writing, her video has amassed 19.2 million views and over 700,000 likes.
The Coco & Even Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam comes in three gorgeous shades. It’s also fast-drying, vegan, non-sticky and doesn’t contain parabens, silicone, sulfates or phthalates. Best of all, however, is that it smells amazing, and your tan develops in as little as two hours.
If you’ve never tried self-tanner before, it usually doesn’t smell pleasant. It also usually takes about four to six hours to develop. The fact that you can shower, work out or just go outside when it’s raining after two hours of leaving Coco & Eve’s bronzing foam on is a big win.
Additionally, the formula contains raw coconut and amino acids to hydrate your skin, blur pigmentation and hide stretch marks. According to the product description, the brand uses its proprietary Cellushape technology with natural antioxidants like banana, papaya, cocoa and fig to improve signs of aging. So, not only will it give you a sun-kissed glow, but it could improve your skin’s look and texture.
Coco & Eve Face Tanning Micromist, $29
In addition to the Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam, Coco & Eve’s Face Tanning Micromist is gaining popularity. You simply spray it on after washing your face, give it 30 seconds to fully absorb and then finish your skin care and makeup routine per usual. It goes on clear and develops over the course of six hours, and, according to the brand, it also boosts hydration and collagen to improve the look of fine lines.
Both Coco & Eve self-tanning products are available on its website. As a self-proclaimed self-tanning expert, I’d recommend using a mitt to apply the foam and maybe even rub in the Micromist with it, too. If you want to use the foam on your face — which you totally can — it’s best to apply it with a brush to get all the way up into your hairline and apply it more evenly.
Coco & Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Bundle, $52
Luckily, Coco & Eve has thought of everything. You can get the Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam with a mitt and kabuki brush for $52. Additionally, you can get the Face Tanning Micromist with the bronzing foam in the Tan Masters Kit for $66.
So, even if you’re not going to the beach soon, at least you can look like you did.
