For years, studies have shown that sleeping in a room that is cooler in temperature can help you get a better night’s rest. But you can still wake up sweating if your blankets and pillows are just too hot.

If you’ve ever flipped your pillow over to the “cool side,” you know the indescribable feeling. But forget flipping all night long. This specialty pillow cover can turn any pillow into a cooling one, giving you a better sleep.

Slumber Cloud’s Core Cooling Pillow Covers zip over any pillow you have at home and adapt to temperature changes in the room, letting you feel cool and comfortable all night long. They’re like “mini spacesuits for your pillows,” according to the product description.

“These state-of-the-art pillow covers incorporate layer upon layer of proprietary Outlast temperature regulating fabric so you are always sleeping on the cool side,” the description continues.

Slumber Cloud describes its Outlast technology as a unique material that can maintain and regulate your temperature. As your temperature rises, the fabric absorbs the heat, and releases it when your skin temperature drops again. It keeps your head at a steady temperature, so you don’t overheat or totally freeze.

“I purchased this Slumber Cloud pillowcase because I always seem to be hot and uncomfortable at night, regardless of the season,” wrote one reviewer. “I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, but this pillowcase delivered! It kept my head and neck cool and comfortable. It’s made a difference in my comfort level.”

“This pillow cover makes any pillow feel ice cold,” wrote another customer. “My son (2) and myself (45) are head sweaters. With these covers, no more!”

The Core Pillow Covers come in two colors — white and light blue — but they’re made to go under your regular pillowcases (the one’s that presumably match the rest of your bedding). One set includes two cases for $59.

If you want an even more cooling effect, not just temperature-regulating to keep you cool, Slumber Cloud also makes the UltraCool Pillow ($69 each). Sleep tight!
