Dad ‘spoils’ newborn daughter by never ‘letting her be by herself’

A mom caught her husband in the act when he snuck in some father-daughter time with their newborn.

Influencer Kenna Bangerter has over 567,000 followers on TikTok, where she posts about life with her husband Jack and baby girl Tommy. When Tommy was a newborn, Jack couldn’t seem to part from the little one. Bangerter claimed, “He will never let her be by herself,” and that he “spoils this girl more than he should.”

In one touching video, Bangerter walked in on her husband sneaking in time with Tommy while he cooked.

“Came down from a bath and…” Bangerter wrote in the caption

She walked downstairs and spotted Jack with baby Tommy. Tommy was in her carrier, tucked into her dad’s hoodie. The father was seasoning a tray full of potatoes.

“Jack? What is going on?”

“She wanted to help cook,” he explained

“Oh, she told you that?” the mom asked.

“Yeah, she was lonely,” Jack said with a smirk.

“You are such a pushover,” she told him. “You can put her down.”

“Go away,” Jack said, shooing his wife off.

The video racked up over 19.2 million views and 3.1 million likes on TikTok

“Ma’am, is your husband single?” a user joked

“You can’t spoil a baby with love, and so many men don’t show enough affection. You’re so lucky to have him,” another wrote

“If my husband will not be like this in the future, I’m never going to have one,” someone said
