A dad made his little girl’s dreams come true when he designed a “princess room” just for her.
Andy Gomez used nothing but his bare hands and a little imagination to make his daughter a glamorous bedroom. He converted the family’s guest room into an ornate paradise inspired by Disney, Bridgerton and the rococo era decor. The dad selected all of the decorations and appliques and built the furniture for the room. Gomez documented the project in a series of videos on TikTok. The end result was stunning.
“Turning this room into a princess room,” Gomez wrote into a caption.
Gomez added baby blue built-in bookshelves, painted the walls a powdery blue and added ornate wall trim.
The father said he took inspiration from Bridgerton as he spray-painted some appliques and frames gold in another clip.
In part three of the project, he hung the golden appliques and decorations up on the finished walls. The room was beginning to look like a mini Versailles.
Gomez put up a portrait of his daughter dressed as Queen Anna. He made a golden framed canopy with long blue tule and added Cinderella-themed curtains to the windows.
Next up, he added vintage candelabras to the wall and finished up the decadent canopy for her bed frame.
Then it was time for the big reveal. The bedroom was fit for any princess with soft pastels and gold trim. The canopy bed came out perfectly, but the candles, appliques and frames made it all come together.
“My childhood is screaming right now,” a user wrote.
“This was my dream when I was little,” someone added.
