These tasty sea salt caramels have it all! They’re chewy, buttery, salty, and sweet all at once. They’re also made with everyday ingredients you’re likely to already have in your pantry. All you need is water, corn syrup, sugar, butter, cream, rosemary, and a couple of sauce pans, and you’re ready to make your own artisanal caramels!
Gummy candies are surprisingly easy to make at home. To make these grape-flavored gummy bears, the filmer simply combines grape juice, lemon juice, gelatin, and honey in a saucepan, and cooks them on low heat until the gelatin dissolves. In order to shape her gummies, the filmer uses silicone gummy bear molds, but you can use any style of mold you want. Small ice cube trays even work in a pinch!
These lollipops are vegan and made with all-natural ingredients. To make them, the filmer heats up a mixture of fresh-squeezed lemon and orange juice, light corn syrup, store-bought orange juice, water, sugar, and food coloring, then pours them into molds. The finished lollipops look just like store-bought candy, but have real fruit flavor.
These chocolate truffles look so fancy, no one would ever suspect they’re only made with 3 ingredients! The filmer starts by placing a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Then they melt chopped up chocolate bars and stir in a can of condensed milk. Once the chocolate mixture starts to have a thick, marshmallowy consistency, they remove the bowl from the heat, and let it cool in the refrigerator for two hours. Once cool, the filmer finishes by simply rolling the chocolate mixture into balls and dipping them into cocoa powder.
Love maple syrup? This is the candy for you! These maple sugar candies are made with chocolate, coconut oil, and maple syrup. The filmer makes them by filling silicone candy molds about halfway with heated maple syrup, then fills them the rest of the way with a mixture of melted chocolate and coconut oil. Once they cool and set, the filmer claims the finished candies will melt in your mouth.
