Devoted pit bull dad refuses to leave nursing ‘wife’s’ side: ‘You can’t tell me animals don’t have feelings’

A proud dad’s love for his four-legged family is melting millions of hearts around the world on TikTok.

The painfully sweet moment was captured by TikToker @roddy_rodd89, who gained over 3 million views and 700,000 when he posted the video to his account.

We’ve seen tender-hearted pit bulls go viral in the past — like this worried pittie who cries every time her human baby brother cries — but OG’s love for his “wife,” RedBone, and their eight little ones might just prove that humans aren’t the only animals who have feelings.

In the now-viral video, Roddy captures his pit bull, OG, dutifully watching over his partner, RedBone, and their eight newborn pups.

As RedBone nurses their babies, she manages to catch some much-needed rest — something all moms need and deserve, no matter what the species — while OG cuddles up by her side.

“Listen, king, we need to take some notes from you,” Roddy says to OG from behind the camera.

“I mean, the babies [are] feeding. You’re just making sure your woman is relaxed and loved. I mean, you know what, I raised you to be OK, man. You stay by your baby mama, watching your babies eat. … You all right with me, OG.”

I wish I could find a man as good as this dog…”

TikTokers were amazed by how devoted and gentle OG was — and how good RedBone clearly has it!

“Sis got her a good one,” one user wrote.

“Lawd have mercy these babies have a better family dynamic then most human beings,” laughed another user.

“I wish I could find a man as good as this dog,” another user joked.

“You can’t tell me animals don’t have feelings! This is freaking amazing!!!” commented one user.

“What a father is supposed to do!” another user wrote.

“OG showing how a real man take care of wife and his family,” replied another user.

“This is the sweetest thing I have seen all week,” wrote one user.

If there’s one thing we can take away from Roddy’s sweet pit bull family, it’s that dogs are just as capable of love and affection as humans are — and that we still have a lot to learn from the animal kingdom.
